Student Nutrition Services is happy to announce for the 2023-2024 school year we will again be offering meals at No Cost to all children enrolled in Porterville Unified through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). CEP offers a delicious and healthy breakfast and lunch to all students throughout the school year.

 

We are excited to partner with you in nourishing your child's growth and well-being. Our commitment to providing wholesome and nutritious meals is aimed at ensuring a healthy and thriving school experience. The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Food and beverages sold or served at school meet the nutrition recommendations of the U.S. Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
