Mr. Cardona, the Principal of Porterville Military Academy, is an experienced educator and operations leader with over 30 years of transforming fast-paced, diverse, results-oriented organizations. He served as a US Air Force Officer in 14 different countries, and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He had the honor of commanding three different Air Force squadrons, was competitively selected to represent the United States as an exchange officer to the Republic of Venezuela, and is a combat veteran. Mr. Cardona is skilled in secondary and adult education, enjoys mentoring the youth, and advocates for high school career technical education. He previously taught aerospace science at Corcoran High School as an Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps instructor, and prior to coming to PUSD was the Assistant Principal of Woodlake High School.
